- What if we could let go of holiday stress? What if all our unrealistic expectations for the "perfect season" could be transformed into a spirit of celebration that truly expresses who we are and what we value? Felt Great for the Holidays is an unconventional workshop that starts with a deceptively simple creative act: you'll craft one or more felt ornaments or small vessels by wrapping wool around a 3" plastic ball. Color, texture, soap, and water create an environment of festivity and fun within which we'll explore anxiety and anticipation, creativity and celebration, fellowship and transformation, improvisation and surprise.
- No experience is necessary for this workshop. Just bring a towel, a plastic bag, and your curiosity.

- Manon, composed in 1882, is a distinctly French tale of a woman seduced and eventually undone by her weakness for life in the fast lane as practiced in 18th-century Paris.

Saturday, November 7, 6 PM- 9 PM: Nau Haus Art Space presents gallery walk-about with the artist, Perry House, and poster signing
- Born in Orange Texas in 1943, Perry House graduated from the California College of Arts, Oakland, CA in 1970 and has been living and working in Houston for the last 30 years. As Houston's art scene was coming of age, House was one of the early pioneers of abstraction, showing with some of the most historically notable galleries in Houston.

Tuesday, November 10, 11 AM: Young Audiences of Houston: Taking it to the Streets at Miller Outdoor Theater
- They fly through the air with the greatest of ease. Catch the excitement of Soul Street (formerly Fly Dance Company) as these energetic performers demonstrate their varied styles and discuss the distinctive features and origins of each dance.
- From Brazil's Capoiera to New York's break dance and the multi-component forms of hip-hop, audience members learn how these styles developed and evolved.
